Fotobar is a destination wedding photographer based in New Delhi. From a palace courtyard in Udaipur to a banquet hall in Raipur, a beach in Goa to a deodar forest in Mussoorie — we travel to photograph Indian weddings wherever they happen.
WhatsApp Us See Real WeddingsA Punjabi wedding in Chandigarh, a Marwari one in Jodhpur, a Telugu ceremony in Hyderabad, a Bengali wedding in Kolkata, a Christian ceremony in Kochi — each has its own rhythm, its own rituals, its own light. Ten years of shooting across the country means we walk in already knowing what happens next, and where to stand for it.
Our home base is Delhi NCR, and we have shot most widely there, in Jaipur, and across the Himalayan hill stations like Mussoorie. Beyond that we travel — carrying our kit to palace hotels, tier-2 cities and small-town family homes alike. If your wedding is in India, we can be there.
Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Faridabad. Farmhouse weddings, five-star ballrooms, gurudwara ceremonies at dawn. Full-service local coverage with no travel loading.
Rambagh, Samode, Fairmont, Jai Mahal. Pink-city light and courtyard architecture built for photographs.
Lake palaces, Aravalli sunsets, boat entries. The most-photographed wedding city in India, and one we know intimately.
Umaid Bhawan, Mehrangarh silhouettes, the blue-city rooftops. Grand-scale weddings that need multi-angle coverage.
Suryagarh and dune camps. 5pm amber light we plan the whole day around.
Punjabi weddings at their most exuberant — Anand Karaj at the Golden Temple, sprawling farmhouse receptions, and baraats that do not stop.
Colonial estates and pine-slope venues. We have shot fog-wrapped ceremonies here where the mountains do half the work.
Small-guest-list weddings in heritage properties, wood-panelled halls and terraced lawns.
Riverside resorts and forest lodges for couples who want nature over grandeur.
Beachfront mandaps, Portuguese-villa receptions, sunset couple sessions on the sand.
Sea-facing banquet halls, Bandra bungalows, and the private villas across the bay.
Vineyard and resort weddings a short drive from the city, with room to breathe.
Falaknuma Palace, Taj Krishna, and the grand Deccani wedding scale. Telugu and Hyderabadi Muslim ceremonies alike.
Palace grounds, garden venues and the city's design-led boutique weddings.
Backwater resorts, church ceremonies, and Nair and Syrian-Christian weddings with their own quiet grace.
Heritage-temple backdrops and Madhya Pradesh palace hotels — a photographer's landscape that stays under-shot.
Large banquet-hall weddings in Chhattisgarh and Vidarbha. We bring our own lighting and full team so the venue is never a limitation.
Awadhi weddings, nawabi detail, and courtyards made for portraiture.
Malwa's growing luxury-wedding circuit — resort venues and city palaces.
Bengali weddings, from the gaye holud to the boron — ritual-dense and beautiful to document.
Family-home and hotel weddings across Bihar and Jharkhand. Wherever the story is, we travel to it.
Our destination coverage is simply our standard full-coverage package plus travel and reasonable accommodation for the team. No inflated "destination premium." We arrive a day early for a venue walkthrough, we carry backup bodies and our own lighting, and we plan the shot list around the specific venue and light before we land.
For tier-2 and small-town weddings especially, bringing a full team matters — the local infrastructure for lighting assistants and second shooters is thinner, so we travel with everything we need. You get the same multi-angle coverage in Raipur that you would get in Delhi.
Rajasthan and North India run October to March, with the palace hotels in Udaipur, Jaipur and Jodhpur booked eight to fourteen months ahead for peak dates. Goa is tighter — mid-October to mid-February, with the monsoon closing most beach venues. Kerala and the South favour December to March, avoiding the pre-monsoon humidity.
The hill stations — Mussoorie, Shimla, Kasauli — invert the calendar: April to June and September to October, before the snow and after the rain. A winter hill wedding is possible but the light is short and the roads are a factor.
Permits and drone rules are a patchwork. City Palace Udaipur charges a photography fee and bans drones over the lake; Jodhpur sits under air-force no-fly zones; coastal Goa has CRZ restrictions; heritage forts and churches each set their own conditions. We settle all of it with the venue before the date so nothing is a surprise on the day.
Send your city and your dates and we will tell you what the season, the light and the local rules mean for how we would shoot it.
